Half a century ago, the Sibelius Monument was the result of six years of hard work. Sculptor Eila Hiltunen knew she was creating something timeless, something eternal.
Now that work, beautiful as jewelry, is brought to life in the Monument jewelry series by master goldsmith Mika Tarkkanen. In the silver jewelry you can feel the same passion and timelessness as in the steel model.
The unique pieces of the Monument series are also created by the goldsmiths at the Tarkkanen atelier. Perhaps the most famous of these is the stunning necklace worn by Mrs Jenni Haukio at the 2016 castle celebrations. This piece of jewellery is on display in the Tarkkanen atelier and this is the one and only piece that was ever made. The
